Model Y Roof Sunshades

Relatively easy to install. Fits perfect. And blocks out this hot Phoenix heat!

The shade is made of very nice materials and does a great job of blocking light and helps to keep the cabin cool. The creases came out after about 2 weeks of sun.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to install and take out. The shade is about 3/8” too long. At the joint in the middle I have to use a tool to shoehorn the pieces together. Since it is so tight, it is difficult to slide the side connectors over the joint seam and the fabric in the back droops a bit and there is a small gap at the rear. It is also difficult to remove, but not as hard as putting it up.

I discussed with Vion and their suggestions of placement of the clips, or removal of the clips and not pushing the corners all the way up did not address the issue of the shade being too long. They then said “there are assembling variations on the New Model Y (Juniper) where the front to rear is shorter. It's not common but we have seen a few cases like this.”

So, this may not fit properly if you have one these cars with an assembly variation.

Looks awesome and does a great job.

It was somewhat difficult to install by myself. The fit is quite good, and it blocks sunlight nicely. I can’t see easily removing it and putting it back often based on weather conditions. I’m satisfied, but not overjoyed.

Very satisfied with the product. Fit and materials are excellent. Had to watch the YouTube video before I installed it. Pretty easy to install once you get the hang of the clip placements.
