Well Made, Great Fit

No complaints with the Vion roof shades. They were very easy to install and they blend in so well with our Model Y Juniper’s interior that we don’t even notice them. I didn’t take any actual temperature readings but the shades do seem to help a tiny bit. I considered having the roof tinted with Xpel ceramic tint, but several Youtube reviewers who did measure the temperature differences said it was minimal, only a few degrees difference. So for the huge difference in cost between VION roof shades and ceramic tint, I chose the shades. I do believe Tesla took steps to increase the thermal performance of the roof glass in Juniper so that helps.

Soon as the weather cools down, we’ll just remove the shades, store them back in their pouch and keep them in the secondary trunk storage. I checked and they fit in that shallow storage area perfectly. I just hope I can fold them back up!
